Er is geen randapparatuur nodig, zoals een cyclooncollector, zakfilter, ge\u00efnduceerde trekventilator, enz. Grondstof komt van bovenaf de classificator binnen en valt op de roterende bulkpan. De bulkpan verdeelt het product in een instelbare luchtstroom die wordt gecre\u00eberd door een interne ventilator. Fijne deeltjes worden meegesleurd in de luchtstroom en naar de buitenste kamer getransporteerd, terwijl grove deeltjes in de binnenste kamer vallen. Fijne poederproducten en grove poederproducten worden respectievelijk via de onderkant van de classificator afgevoerd. Dit proces van interne luchtcirculatie en zelfsortering verlaagt de investerings-, productie- en onderhoudskosten aanzienlijk. Bij het verwerken van materialen met een hoge hardheid, zoals schuurmiddelen en kwarts, kunnen de inlaatgoot en interne roterende onderdelen worden gemaakt van materialen met een hoge hardheid of worden bekleed met een hoge hardheid, afhankelijk van de situatie. Indien het noodzakelijk is om ijzerverontreiniging te voorkomen, kan de binnenkant van de classificator bovendien worden bekleed met aluminiumoxide-keramische platen en
